Zoticon Bioventures is an off balance sheet investment vehicle which in-licenses late stage clinical compounds into a Special Purpose Development Vehicle (SPDV) in which the licensor receives a significant equity position in consideration for the asset alongside more traditional licensing arrangements such as milestones and royalties. Zoticon then infuses the SPDV with top tiered management as well as capital. The blending of equity compensation as well as traditional royalty arrangements allow the licensor to increase value of the asset through a wide range of possibilities without diluting his own equity or manpower.
